Waku Beauty is free to read. We pay for it through affiliate links, and you should know exactly how that works.
What an affiliate link is
Some links on Waku take you to a store or brand through an affiliate program. If you buy something after clicking one, the store may pay us a small commission. The price you pay stays the same.
Our shopping links pass through a short address on our own site before they reach the store. That's how the store knows Waku sent you.
What it doesn't change
- We cover products because they're good and relevant, whether or not they earn us anything.
- Brands can't pay to appear on a page or to get a better spot.
- We don't rank products or pick winners, so there's no top slot to sell.
- A product that pays us more gets no extra words.
What we can and can't see
When you buy through one of our links, the store or the affiliate program tells us a sale happened and what we earned. We never see your name, address or payment details.
Affiliate programs may set a cookie in your browser so the store can credit the sale. Those cookies belong to them, and their own privacy terms cover them. Our privacy policy explains what Waku itself collects.
